Crafting a Brave Space to Heal

Lynnea Aponte LMT #21519

For the majority of my time as a massage therapist, I have been exclusively training in visceral and perinatal therapies. Following a difficult and traumatic birth experience with my first child, I was drawn to learn Maya Abdominal Therapy with Rosita Arvigo so that I could facilitate both my healing, and the healing of others in my community. Once I discovered the magic that exists within our organ systems, and the incredible paths to healing that exist there, I decided to dive even deeper and trained in Visceral Manipulation with the Barral Institute. In this time, I have witnessed the amazing transformations my clients have undertaken. It is such an honor and privilege to hold space for such deep, profound healing.

While visceral therapy can help with all kinds of bodily concerns, my focus is specifically on reproductive and digestive health. I provide support for my clients through their childbearing years, from fertility work through postpartum, and even during their births in the role of a doula. I support clients in uterine health from menarche through menopause (I refer to this as “womb to tomb” philosophy) . I also have a great deal of knowledge and experience in a wide range of digestive difficulties, from SIBO, Crohn’s, Diverticulitis, GERD, and many more. I offer surgical support before and after operations, as well as provide corrective scar tissue work.

My support goes beyond the treatment table. It is physical, emotional, and spiritual.
